The story of us

Following the success of their first café – St Rose in Essendon – husband-and-wife team Domenic and Diana Caruso brings a new sophisticated but welcoming venue to Ascot Vale with the intention of providing simple and honest food, good coffee and a space that dynamically contributes to Melbourne’s much-loved café culture.

The concept designed by Melbourne-based creative studio Biasol is inspired by the Greek delicatessens that once flourished around Melbourne in the 1950s. Featuring high ceilings and natural light, this predominately concrete interior with accents of brass and elegant furniture detailing is an experience we hope you enjoy, remember and return to.
